In the northern part of the country, there are few cities which have acquired the reputation of being cosmopolitan in their outlook as well as their planning. Chandigarh, the Union Territory, which is also the joint capital of the two states of Punjab and Haryana, is one such city. In fact, it would not be entirely wrong to say that Chandigarh is one of the most sought after cities in north India for property investment among people from different backgrounds and classes.
